John Roberson

Sensei Roberson is a highly skilled martial artist who has black belts in 5 different styles of martial arts which include American Karate, Isshin Ryu, Superfoot System, Combat Hapkido, and Tae Kwon-Do. He has also studied other disciplines such as Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Boxing, and Wrestling. With over 30 years of teaching experience and a mixed martial arts background, Sensei Roberson has developed a unique and innovative curriculum that is fun, empowering, and suitable for students of all ages.

Excellent program for adults, too! The curriculum presents a solid grounding in a broad range of martial styles, going deeper into specific techniques as students advance. Practical self-defense, sport style sparring, and physical fitness are all well represented.

John Roberson and all the other Black Belts there are outstanding with the kids. It's apparent that the kids really respect him and listen to him. Our 8 year old twin girls are just starting there but I have attended other schools in the past and Elite Martial Arts has a sense of community and friendship that's rare to find in more traditional "Chain" schools.
